Rail line mats

Intended use:
Vibration insulation of floors, ceilings, walls, machine and device foundations, and rail lines.

Performance:
Unique combination of elastic and vibration insulation properties: low modulus of elasticity with high vibration isolation coefficient.
  • resistant to load and fatigue
  • durable: resistant to chemical substances used in construction works
  • operating temperature: -80o to + 200o C (short term)
  • non-conducting
  • resistant to aging, non-dusting
  • resistant to mould and decay

Tram line mats

SEMAG mats are intended for use on ballast and non-ballast tram lines in order to:
  • reduce vibrations of railroad vehicles affecting the line surroundings
  • reduce dynamic effect on rubble ballast by increasing resilience of the ground.
SEMAG mats used in railway ballast structures are referred to as rubble mats.
SEMAG mats are intended for use on tracks, turnouts, crossings in various railroad transport systems: tram, railway and underground. It is mostly used on tram lines at bridge structures (bridges, flyovers, overpasses) on tunnels and tram lines common with a road and tracks on ground.
SEMAG mats are available as sheets in the following range of dimensions:
  • thickness: 20 mm to 40 mm,
  • size: 2,500 x 1,500, 1,000 x 1,000 and other custom sizes
  • new ... “jigsaw” type mats 1 x 1 m. Panels are tight fitting on edges
